Hez Tacardon

Hezekiah is a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, who works across many styles of music ranging from singer/songwriter, to rap and drill. In 2018, he moved to England from the Isle of Man to study Creative Music Production at the University of Huddersfield. Already having a fairly musical background, he was able to hone his skills further and finished with a First Class Honours degree.

During his placement year at Eiger, he shadowed sessions in the studio, assisted in recordings, and worked alongside other producers and engineers – it wasn’t long until he was running sessions independently. He has also worked with a wide variety of bands and artists during his time at Eiger, from Leeds-based, such as: Ntantu, Graft, Shaku, Mega Happy, and UK-based, such as: BDRMM, Slick Don, This Winter Machine, and Kelsey Gill. In his spare time he volunteers at his local church in Huddersfield, playing in the worship band and manning the sound desk. He is also the frontman/drummer for Yorkshire-based trio Quentin.
